a UK public
company in
September
2001.

acquisition
included all
of the
assets of
Eclipse
Blinds
Systems Inc.
in the USA,
including
its wholly
owned
subsidiary
company,
Scientific
Plastics
Ltd. in Miami
Lakes,
Florida.
Astra
Products
Ltd. is
owned and
operated by
a management
group who
has over 50
combined
years of
industry
experience.
Astra also
has a
majority of
dedicated
employees
who have
been with
the company
for many
years.
We are glad

Various ways that we practice
Green at Astra Products:
- Recycle our light color regrind to make valance.
- Reclaim raw material compounds that were previously discarded without compromising the reliability of the product.
- Send packaging from suppliers back to them for their reuse.
- Rebuild and reuse wooden skids.
- Recycle steel used in tooling.
- Use a closed loop water system for cooling to reduce the water usage.
- Recycle off color regrind plastic to an outside source.
Our end products, vertical and/or horizontal blinds, are energy efficient. They will hold the heat or cold outside, thus reducing the heating or cooling bills for the consumer.
